Position Summary:
Reporting to the Executive of Business Development, this position is part of a collaborative sales team responsible for increasing non-dues, non-member revenue. This position will identify, engage, and nurture potential clients, manage the full sales pipeline, and ultimately close sales opportunities.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
- Utilize extensive healthcare industry knowledge to research and identify potential leads within the healthcare sector, including hospitals, health systems, group medical practices, and other relevant organizations.

- Use a variety of channels, such as phone calls, emails, social media, and conferences to generate and qualify leads. Conduct outbound prospecting to initiate conversations with key decision-makers.

- Engage with prospects to understand their needs, pain points, and objectives. Qualify leads based on defined criteria.

- Take ownership of the full sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure. Continuously update and manage leads throughout the sales cycle.

- Successfully close sales opportunities, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
|
- Develop a deep understanding of our healthcare products and services to effectively communicate their value proposition to potential clients.
|
- Create and maintain sales collateral, including presentations and sales materials, to support lead generation and sales efforts.
|
- Keep detailed records of all interactions with leads and provide regular reports on lead generation and qualification activities.
|
- When appropriate collaborate closely with senior sales leaders to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads and provide ongoing feedback for continuous improvement.

- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and the competitive landscape to remain well-informed and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
|
- Minimum 3 years of healthcare sales or related experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
|
- Utilization of Salesforce (or similar CRM software) required.
|
- In-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry, including familiarity with healthcare products, services, hospital operations and budgeting, regulatory requirements, education, clinical quality, operational efficiency, and performance improvement.

- Proven ability to identify, cultivate relationships, and close sales with existing and prospective customers.

- Exceptional prospecting and lead generation abilities.
