Since 1993, Platinum Home Mortgage has served America as one of the nation’s premier lenders.
We pride ourselves on innovative home financing solutions, offering more home loan programs than many other lenders.
Platinum Home Mortgage opened the doors of its Rolling Meadows, Illinois office in 1993. By the end of our first year, we were the fourth-largest originator of FHA loans and the number one privately-held mortgage company in Chicago.
In 1996, Ernst & Young recognized Platinum’s co-founder as Entrepreneur of the Year - Emerging Award Winner Midwest Region for his vision, innovation, courage and leadership in building and growing a successful business that influences the way we live, the products and services we depend on and the economic vibrancy of our local communities.
That same year, we were approved by Ginnie Mae, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, demonstrating our strength and stability.
The approvals allowed us to offer a greater level of customer care and to make a significant contribution to the expansion of affordable housing opportunities in America, an effort that continues to this day.
To serve the renovation needs of our customers, we created a specialized renovation division in 2011 to offer both conventional and government loan programs available from few other lenders.
Two years later, we launched the HARP Help Center. The center provides borrowers who currently owe more than the value of their home with the information and resources needed to determine if they are eligible for the Home Affordable Refinance Program. HARP is designed to help homeowners refinance their mortgage to current low rates, a life-changing opportunity for millions of Americans affected by the recession.
Today, Platinum Home Mortgage stands as one of America’s premier lenders, licensed and operating in 50 states and the District of Columbia.
