Non-Profit Organizations
Grover and Pals is a Chicago-area nonprofit animal welfare organization that supports rescue groups caring for animals in under-resourced communities.
Rather than operating a shelter of our own, we partner directly with trusted organizations and the people doing the work every day. Our support helps provide veterinary care, food, shelter improvements, emergency rescue, and long-term care for injured, abandoned, disabled, and vulnerable animals.
Our primary focus is on international rescue organizations in countries where resources for animal welfare are limited, while also supporting animal rescue efforts in our local community. We work closely with our partners to understand their needs, share the stories of the animals in their care, raise funds, and connect individual animals with monthly sponsors.
Grover and Pals was inspired by Grover, a rescued cat whose resilience and gentle personality showed us how much a second chance can matter. Our goal is simple: support good people doing difficult work and help more animals receive the care, safety, and dignity they deserve.
