Founded in 1988, The Chicagoland Safety, Health and Environmental Conference is the premier regional training conference for OSHA compliance training, and training in general safety, the environment, industrial hygiene and EHS professional development. The conference is for professionals who have responsibilities related to safety, health, and environmental management. Other key personnel such as owners, managers, supervisors, safety committee members, human resource managers, municipalities and others are encouraged to attend.
The four day September conference is sponsored by the Northern Illinois, Chicago and Three Rivers chapters of the American Society of Safety Engineers, the Chicago Local section of the American Industrial Hygiene Association and the Chicago Chapter of the Alliance for Hazardous Materials Professions and is planned in association with OSHA, the National Safety Education Center and Northern Illinois University, College of Engineering and Engineering Technology. The conference is held at the Naperville campus of Northern Illinois University. In 2014, the conference drew more than 1,000 session attendees, speakers and vendors from 13 states and 2 foreign countries.
The 2015 conference being held September 21-24 2015 will offer more than 50 current issue, dynamic professional training sessions and workshops presented by knowledgeable, proven speakers. Sessions run 1.5 hour, half-day or full day depending on the topic. The conference week concludes with the annual Chicagoland EHS Golf Outing. This is always a great event for conference attendees, speakers, vendors and others to enjoy golf, have some fun and network with other professionals.
