Our client a privately held company, has opportunities for an SQF/HACCP Practitioner to join their team. You must have the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a dedication to food safety and quality.
As an SQF/HACCP Practitioner, You Will:
- Conduct comprehensive annual HACCP and SQF reassessments including program review and functional audits of HACCP, SSOP, SQF programs, and pre-requisite programs and all supporting documents.
- Keep the plant updated on all HACCP and SQF Related notices and directives.
- Lead the maintenance of the SQF program.
- Manage the employee training process to ensure there is successful completion and implementation of all required training.
- Coordinate weekly SQF meetings with internal teams as needed.
- Ensure compliance with FDA and FSMA
- Ongoing training will be covered as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3-5 years HACCP and SQF Practitioner certification and the ability to demonstrate an excellent understanding of SQF, HACCP, GMP, and SSOP.
- Comprehensive knowledge in plant GMPs, sanitation practices, microbiology, sampling techniques, and plans.
- Experience in food safety and production QA/QC.
- Have the following training: Safety, Safe Quality Food (SQF), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Food defense training.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft office, etc.
- Must be able to work in a variety of work environments and perform the physical requirements of the job.
- Ability to work extended scheduled hours as needed.
- Must be a team player
- English/Spanish highly preferred
