Production Worker III, -1st Shift (6:30am - 3:00pm)

The Production Worker III and/or Lead Production Worker is responsible to follow work orders, work instructions/SOPs, perform duties to operate manufacturing machinery, inspect, package final product, and performs Lead Operator duties while adhering to Good Manufacturing/Documentation Practices standards.  Production Worker III’s must also verify equipment needed prior to the start of production.


Dept 52 – Bristling:

  • Communicate with previous shift operator to determine machine or product problems.
  • Record production data in the computer system.
  • Review work orders, on assigned machines, to determine product to run and quantity needed.
  • Obtain correct filament for their machines.
  • Gather and load supplies to start machine operations.
  • Adjust and fix simple alarms and jams as needed during production process.
  • Perform visual inspection to ensure conformance to quality standards.
  • Notify Lead Operator and Maintenance of product or machine problems.
  • Weight count product to assure correct count.
  • Move completed boxes or totes to the skid.
  • Perform first piece inspection and sign off on paperwork.
  • Follow safety rules and keep work area in clean and orderly condition.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum of High School Diploma (or GED equivalent)
  • Some college is preferred



  • Prior manufacturing experience required



  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English
  • Good communication skills and detail oriented
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Must be able to communicate to all levels of the organization
