Medical Support Assistant (MSA)
Part-time On Site
Location: 800 Biesterfield Rd, Suite 565, Elk Grove Village, IL, 60007
Days: Saturdays: 8:00am – 1:00pm and 1-2 weekdays: 5 to 7 hours per day
Rate: $19/hr.

Primary
- Prescription Prior Authorizations
- Medication Management
- Insurance Verification
- Appointment Scheduling
- Klara Patient Communication Management
- Referrals Management
- eFax Inbox Management
Secondary
- Patient visit check-in and check-out
- Rooming patients after check-in
- Assisting Provider in attending to patients after rooming
- Appointment Scheduling
Qualification and Experience
- Minimum: Associate degree or at least 5 years relevant experience
- Experience in Insurance Verification process
- Experience in Prescription Prior Authorization and Patient Medication Management
- Appointment Scheduling
- Dermatology experience a plus
- Knowledge and usage of an EMR system
- EMR ModMed usage experience a plus
