Prior to joining Edward Jones, I practiced as an attorney in the Chicagoland area for nearly a decade, focusing on the areas of estate planning, probate, guardianships and domestic relations. I found myself working with families in transition, whether it was the death of a loved one or divorce. I prided myself on focusing on client education and communication, through which my clients came out of these transitional phases with confidence and purpose.
As an estate planning attorney, I helped families establish estate plans. I worked as a team with clients and their financial advisors to develop these plans, but ultimately, when the legal work was done, my work with the client concluded. On the other hand, the clients and their financial advisors had continuing and long-lasting relationships. The desire to stay actively involved with my clients in the long-term is what drove me to Edward Jones.
