SUMMARY:SBA Women in Business
DESCRIPTION:Presented by: \n\n\n\n- WE ARE SOLD OUT FOR THIS EVENT - \n\nWE CANNOT ACCOMMODATE WALKINS\n\nRegistration is open for the next event on May 26 \n\n\n\nThis is brand new event for SBA women and guests. Join us for networking\, lunch and a presentation.\n\n\n\n\n\nVickie Austin \n\n"Everyday Diva - Having it All Without Losing Ourselves"\n\nAs girls and women we receive mixed messages about power and prestige. Raised to be "nice girls\," we struggle up the success ladder\, confused when the roles we're trained for are in conflict with the leadership roles we aspire to fill. This presentation addresses the conflicts of being a woman in business and all that entails: money\, power\, and how to have it all without losing the very people we love or losing ourselves. \n\n\n\n\n\nVickie Austin has been helping people through transitions since 1997 when she founded CHOICES Worldwide\, a business and career coaching practice. An entrepreneur devoted to making a difference in the workplace\, Vickie coaches\, consults\, speaks\, and writes about business and career success. She is a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA)\, a past Dean of NSA-IL Speakers Academy and she is currently president-elect of the NSA-IL chapter. Vickie holds a bachelor's degree in English literature from Arizona State University and an executive master's in international management from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
