DESCRIPTION:The New Member Orientation is designed to welcome you as a new member to the association and provide you the tools and knowledge to help get off to a fast start with your membership.  While this is geared towards new members\, we welcome all of the membership to attend to learn more about some of the more hidden details your membership can provide.  During the orientation we will cover some of the following:\n\n \n\n\n	Introductions of staff\, ambassadors\, board members and other new members to the association\n	Landscape of the association membership and how you and your company can play a role in the community\n	Membership benefits such as marketing tools\, networking groups\, events and much more\n	How to access\, update and create your online profile both on the desktop and on our mobile app\n	Description of events/networking opportunities and what they look like today\n\n \n\nAs there will be some great information shared during this orientation\, the following are some suggestions that other new members found helpful in preparation for this event:\n\n\n	Have a 30 second commercial ready to share with the group\n	Be prepared to be on camera\n	Have plenty of paper and a pen to jot down valuable information as well as others attending that you would want to connect with after\n	Expect to make some follow-ups after\n	Connect with you ambassador after\n\n\n \n\nWe look forward to helping you plan your roadmap to a successful time at the Schaumburg Business Association and maximizing your opportunity to exceed your goals of your membership.\n\n\n\n**Masks are not required for those who have been vaccinated for Covid-19\, those who have not\, are still required to wear them. However\, they are encouraged for all.**
