On April 8th 2004\, they received the news that their dear son had been killed by sniper fire in Al Anbar Province. Phil was 20. At this point their lives took a turn they would have never expected. They found they could not remain in this new world of extreme pain and grief\, if they did\, they knew they would not survive. Whenever they thought of Phil\, they would remember how he always took are of others\, even in Iraq through stories told to them by Phil's brother Marines\, he was the friend they could count on\, he was always there ..\n\n \n\nFor Roy and Georgette\, through The Heart Of A Marine Foundation\, LCpl Phillip E. Frank continues to live on and continues to care for others.\n\n\n\nIn 2015 The Heart Of A Marine Foundation is celebrating 10 years of serving our most deserving.
