Auditions take place in the spring and students begin rehearsals during the summer school program and continue with weekly rehearsals during the school year.  These outstanding musicians perform at several venues throughout the district and wider Chicago area.  This year's jazz band directors are Eric Caliendo and Roy Hansen.
