DESCRIPTION:We're kicking off the new year with a family event that celebrates the officers who serve our community. Join us at Chick-fil-A West Schaumburg (90 Barrington Rd.) on Thursday\, January 8 from 5 to 6:30 PM for Cookie with a Cop. Officers from the Schaumburg Police Department will be here to meet kids\, answer questions\, take photos\, and enjoy cookies together.\n\n\n\nTo honor National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (January 9)\, we'll also have a card-making station so guests can write notes of thanks and encouragement. Our team will deliver the finished cards to the department.\n\n\n\nWe'll have a few kid-friendly activities too\, including a "fingerprinting" station with non-toxic ink pads and a simple mystery game for young detectives to solve. It's a relaxed way for families to connect with local officers and show support for the work they do every day.\n\n\n\nThis casual drop-in event is free to attend\, and reservations aren't required.
