DESCRIPTION:Join the Limb Difference Collective Foundation at Brookfield Zoo on April 25th as we celebrate Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month with hundreds of children\, adults\, and families from across the disability community.\n\nWhat began in 2024 as a simple online meetup that unexpectedly drew 150 people has grown into one of the largest limb difference community gatherings in the Midwest. In 2025\, more than 230 attendees came together   families\, adults with limb differences\, supporters\, and allies   creating a day filled with connection\, visibility\, and joy.\n\nThis momentum inspired the launch of the Limb Difference Collective Foundation\, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to sustaining this annual event\, expanding access to resources\, and helping more people find community and belonging.\n\nBusinesses and community partners are invited to get involved.\n\nIf you're interested in supporting the event\, contributing in-kind items for our goodie bags\, or learning more about the impact of investing in this corner of the disability community\, we'd love to connect.
