Not applicable as we have no WACO facility per se. Since we are 100% volunteers Board Members work from their homes, private offices or individual business offices.
The Woodfield Area Children’s Organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving disadvantaged children in the northwest and western suburbs. We are an all-volunteer charity. Throughout the year we hold drives for food, books, school supplies, coats and toys. Every winter WACO purchases more than 400 new coats for needy children. And every December we take more than 500 preschoolers Christmas shopping for themselves and their immediate families. We hold several fundraisers each year including our Founders Dinner in late February/early March, ''Steak'' Your Claim meat raffle in April, Wingfest on the last Sunday in July and an After Hours in October. We are always in the market for volunteers, Corporate Partners, Corporate Sponsors, Donors and Members.
