The Housedoctors has nearly 2 decades of full time experience inspecting homes in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. By covering a large geographical area, we are able to better serve our customers. It also gives us an opportunity to inspect structures of various ages and styles.
The Housedoctors’ inspector, Rick Carlberg, is a graduate of the Midwest Training Institute’s rigorous home inspection course and has an extensive background in general contracting. He is Illinois State licensed and is certified with the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI).
Our typical inspection includes the following areas: roofing, plumbing, structural, electrical, heating and air conditioning, attic insulation/ventilation, operation of doors and windows, correct wiring of receptacles, operation of appliances, etc. It is a thorough, detailed inspection of these systems and components.
