Position Summary:
As a member of the Application Development team, you will design, develop, troubleshoot and implement program code for web-based applications/systems. You will be responsible for producing dependable, reusable solutions while conforming to the standards and processes established by the Application Development team.
 
Primary Position Responsibilities:
  • Designs, develops, tests, troubleshoots and documents source code and configurations for web-based applications/systems.
  • Utilizes various IDE’s, text editors, code repositories, comparison tools and other common developer applications to produce high quality web-based applications/systems.
  • Responds to helpdesk tickets in a timely manner.Works with the requestor to understand the issue being reported then implements a sustainable solution.
  • Understands, follows and advocates the IT department’s practices, processes and standards.
  • Works with Project Management, product managers and/or business owners to review project requirements, evaluate their feasibility and recommend alternative solutions when necessary.
  • Provides estimates on the number of hours and resources that will be required to complete projects/tasks as assigned.
  • Researches, previews and reports on new, emerging web/mobile technologies and tools that could be a benefit to the department and organization.
Position Qualifications:
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Microsoft Certified Application Developer is a plus.
  • Requires 3+ years of experience with the following technologies: C#, MS SQL, ReactJS, HTML5/CSS3, REST, jQuery, JSON, JavaScript, Responsive Design, .NET technologies (4.0 or higher - ASP.NET MVC, Web API), MS SQL Server (2012 or higher), IIS, Microsoft Visual Studio (2012 or higher), Azure DevOps/VSTS/TFS (or similar), Agile SCRUM methodology.
  • Experience with the following is a plus: Sitecore CMS, Coveo, Personify AMS, Microsoft Azure App Services.
  • Requires excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to examine a situation from all angles and consider all possibilities.
  • Ability to translate ideas into solutions and produce results. Display creativity and innovation.
